Baltimore Heritage relies on an active and dedicated group of volunteers to conduct most of its activities. Volunteers work primarily with three Baltimore Heritage Committees that undertake the following:
Organize and participate in springtime guided walking tours of Baltimore’s neighborhoods.
Plan for lectures and other special events.
Work with other preservationists, developers, and City officials to craft preservation-based solutions for critical and threatened heritage resources.
Organize technical assistance workshops on rehabilitation tax credits and other preservation and revitalization incentives.
Participate in the Baltimore City Historic Forum, a collaboration of representatives from the City’s historic neighborhoods who meet to discuss preservation issues and events.
